Police have taken a man and a vehicle into custody following a car chase in which officers fired shots. In an official statement, the Barbados Police Service denied social media reports that officers were fired upon during the incident near Cowell Street, Bridgetown. The chase stemmed from a traffic operation in the city, and while shots were discharged by police, no one was injured.
