Police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, on St. Michael’s Row in Bridgetown. A man in his late 20s was walking toward the City with a female companion when he was approached by a masked assailant who opened fire, causing the victim to collapse. He sustained multiple injuries and was treated on the scene by ambulance personnel before being transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he remains in stable condition. Investigations are ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Central Criminal Investigation Department at 430-1789/90, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station. All information will be treated as strictly confidential.
