In case you missed it, the Barbados Homicide Database is now live at its new and more fitting home: data.barbadoscrimeblog.com. Originally hosted at data.caribbeansignal.com, I have moved it to align better with the focus of the Barbados Crime Blog.
In addition to my regular end-of-month homicide analyses and regular crime reports at www.barbadoscrimeblog.com, visitors can now explore homicide data through interactive charts and generate custom reports using filters such as year, parish, method, gender, and more. The dataset currently spans 2022 to 2025 and will continue to be updated as/when I get the time.
The goal of this tool is to make homicide data in Barbados more accessible, transparent, and useful for researchers, journalists, policymakers, and the public. As a reminder, the data and information contained on both websites do not represent official statistics.
