Around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday 8 November 2025, police say a man who was socializing near a business in Weston, St. James, was confronted by three masked, armed assailants as he tried to leave; the assailants fired at him and he returned fire with his licensed firearm. Two of the attackers were hit — one died at the scene and was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor, while the other was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. Holetown police are continuing their investigation and ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or the Holetown Police Station at 419-1700.
