Police at Oistins Station are conducting investigations into a fatal shooting, which occurred about 1:35 pm on Wednesday 21st January 2026, along Pegwell Boggs, Christ Church.
Initial investigations revealed that a group of persons were gathered in the area, when a motor vehicle approached. An occupant of that vehicle exited and discharged a number of gunshots at the gathering before fleeing the scene. One man received injuries and collapsed a short distance away outside of a residence.
A medical doctor visited the scene, examined the body and pronounced death.
The deceased was subsequently identified by a relative as Dwayne Ryan Omar Ceasar, 44 years of Callenders Gardens, Christ Church.
Investigations are continuing.
