
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) has launched an investigation after a female patient attacked staff with a concealed sharp object early Wednesday morning. While no life-threatening injuries occurred, several staff members were left visibly shaken. Medical and psychological support was provided, and the hospital is reviewing the incident in collaboration with police. CEO Neil Clark emphasized that staff and patient safety is a top priority, and the event will be used to strengthen QEH’s safety protocols.
