A St. John family is fearing for their lives after surviving a terrifying double attack in Colleton (Aug 31), where one of their homes was riddled with gunfire and another set ablaze with an 11-year-old inside. Security footage shows armed men approaching before the assault. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Police have launched an investigation and appealed for witnesses. Homeowner Sonia Jones and her son, Rasheed, suspect the attacks are connected to Rasheed’s reluctant testimony in a 2020 murder trial, in which a man was convicted. Just last week, another man was charged with perjury in relation to that same trial.
