Homicide #23: Six Roads Robbery Turns Deadly

Cameron Elcock, a 22-year-old from Rendezvous Gardens, Christ Church, has been identified as Barbados’ 23rd homicide victim for 2025. He died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being shot during a robbery at Six Roads, St. Philip. Elcock and a male relative were securing a business when they were confronted by two armed assailants demanding jewellery. A struggle ensued, leading to both men being shot. Elcock was transported to the hospital by private vehicle, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His relative was taken by ambulance and is receiving treatment. Police investigations are ongoing.
