A police officer discharged a firearm while attempting to apprehend a suspect in Shuttle Street, Bridgetown, this morning. Contrary to social media reports, no one was injured. A street vendor who witnessed the incident expressed concern, while community activist Lumumba Batson, who heard the gunshot, urged young men to avoid criminal activity and stay on the right path.
