
A 54-year-old restaurant owner in Apple Hall, St. Philip was robbed at gunpoint around 10:30 PM, March 1st. Two armed men entered Lendees, a food business operated from a residence, and demanded the day’s earnings. While the proprietor complied, a staff member moved and was shot in the stomach by one of the robbers. The attackers fled with the cash, leaving the victim in serious condition. The injured person was taken to the hospital privately. The business owner, Dave Gooding, shared that the children present are receiving counseling and that he will not reopen next weekend.
