A robbery occurred at Colombian Emeralds inside Bridgetown Duty Free around 12 noon today (June 24th). A young male suspect reportedly snatched a piece of jewelry and fled through the front entrance. Police on patrol, along with other units and help from civilians, chased and apprehended the suspect near Swan Street, taking him into custody at Central Police Station. The store closed for the rest of the day, and it’s currently unclear if the suspect was armed.
