Shopkeeper and chef Oniecka Paul Forde was violently assaulted at her Spooners Hill, St. Michael food store on Monday (July 21) after confronting a customer over a torn $100 bill. She suffered multiple bruises, particularly to her neck, but remains determined to continue her business. The attacker has been charged with assault, causing bodily harm, and criminal damage, and is remanded in custody until his next court appearance on August 19.
