The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Major Crime Unit (MCU), has arrested and formally charged Akeelia Latoya Brathwaite, 29 years and Nigailiah Aliyah Brathwaite, 28 years of Cox Hill, Church Village, St. Philip, for the following offence:
● Assisting an Offender -Being Nigel Pinder, between 12th and 17th September 2025
Both appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court, on Wednesday 19th November 2025. They were not required to plead to the indictable offence and was granted bail to the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars each and with one surety each. They are scheduled to reappear on Wednesday 11th March 2026.
